The Jumex Story
In 1964 the JUMEX brand was introduced and rapidly became well known thanks to its package "La latita azul” o the “Little Blue Can”. In 1973, GRUPO JUMEX decided to establish BOTEMEX, its own manufacturing can facility, which gave the company the opportunity to innovate in the packaging design process. For over 45 years, GRUPO JUMEX has constantly researched new technologies to ensure the highest quality products in packaging that includes cans, glass, plastic and aseptic packs. Leader in the nectar category in Mexico, JUMEX continues to meet the needs of consumers far and beyond the Mexico. Consumers from Central America, South America, Europe and Asia enjoy the delicious fruits and traditions that JUMEX brings to their families. In 1982 JUMEX began exporting its products to the US, becoming the leader in the shelf stable nectar category and the favorite brand among the Hispanic community and general market. Currently Jumex product offerings in the U.S. include 11.3 fl oz cans (15 fruits); 33 fl oz /1lt Aseptic package (7 fruits); 67 fl oz/2 lt Aseptic package (5 fruits); Mini Brik 6.76 fl oz Aseptic Package (5 fruits) and the new Lata – Botella 16.9 fl oz (4 fruits) offering a truly unique and convenient aluminum bottle presentation.
